MY GREEK VACATIONS
So you have chosen the Greek islands for your vacations .You have probably read so much already and at some point you started wondering… How the hell am i going to squeeze all of them in just 2 lousy weeks of my first Greek vacations . Believe me,you just can’t…
You may argue about this peeking down from the airplane window-hell why not? Every island looks just a stone’s throw away from the next one. Listen to me again, you just can’t. There are about 2000 damn islands . Sure , only about 200 of them are inhabited , at least by Greeks…and only about 80 or so have more than 100 people normally sleeping there .
I’ve been to most of those 80 , summer and winter , for week long or just weekend stays . My Greek vacations have been going on for the biggest part of my life . What sums everything in one sentence is this : Each and every Greek island is unique , a world by itself.
At some point i began keeping notes of my stays. I figured that keeping a record of my Greek vacations on a blog was more fun than keeping a diary .You can see all the Greek islands i have been to through my own two eyes and use as much of my experience as you like to make your Greek vacations worth the while .Allow me to introduce myself, i am Aristoula.I am 48 ,married and have 2 sons .When my boys were younger they followed me and my husband ,at least in our summer vacations.Now they travel on their own....
